WHAT IS WEBER MEADOWVIEW?
Weber
Meadowview consists of 83 privately owned lots averaging from one
half to over one acre in a beautiful mountain setting in Weber Canyon.
The project features several open meadows, acres of frontage on
the Weber River and plenty of open space with national forest land
to the north.
WHERE
IS WEBER MEADOWVIEW LOCATED?
Weber
Meadowview is located several miles up Weber Canyon with entrances
on the north and south sides of the road.
IS THE AREA ACCESSIBLE
ON A YEAR ROUND BASIS?
Yes,
Weber Meadowview is one of the only year round, plowed projects
in Weber Canyon. The owners coop the plowing fees which average
between $50 to $100 per year depending on snowfall.
HOW MUCH ARE THE HOMEOWNER
ASSOCIATION DUES AND WHAT DO THEY COVER?
The
Homeowner Association dues are $300 per year and cover water, general
operation, and road maintenance with the exception of plowing.
WHAT KIND OF NATURAL
VEGETATION IS IN THE AREA?
Mostly
aspens with a few pines and lots of wildflowers in the summer.
WHAT ABOUT ELECTRICITY?
All
of the lots have power to the property line.
ARE FEES INVOLVED
WITH HOOKING UP THE WATER?
ARE GAS AND PHONE
LINES INSTALLED?
No
gas lines are installed, residents use propane. Yes, phone lines
are in place.
IS WEBER MEADOWVIEW
ZONED FOR HORSES?
Horses
are allow in the summer in the common area pasture. Fences and barns
are not allowed.
WHAT KIND OF ROADS
ARE THERE?
All
of the roads in the project are dirt/gravel and are accessible by
a 2 wheel drive car in the summer.
HOW FAR IS WEBER MEADOWVIEW
FROM SALT LAKE CITY?
About
one hour.
WHAT ARE
THE VIEWS LIKE?
The
views vary depending on which side of the canyon and which lot.
Lots on the river side have views of the river and pine covered
mountains and meadow across the way. Across the street the views
are usually of aspen covered mountains and meadows.
IN WHAT SCHOOL AND
FIRE DISTRICT IS THE PROPERTY?
The
area is located within the boundaries of the South Summit School
District and the Summit County Fire District. A fire station is
conveniently located at the base of the canyon in Oakley.
