Working for you to find your mountain home - Bitcoin Transaction Specialist
Bob grew up in Idaho and developed his love of all things mountain there. He graduated from the University of Utah in 1988 and soon found his way to Park City and the “life”. He worked in the food and beverage industry to support his skiing, biking and golfing habit and managed several Main St. bars and restaurants. Long time locals will remember the night he brought Jefferson Starship to Main St. at the legendary Black Pearl (now 350 Main), and he fondly recalls the night The Supremes had an impromptu jam session with his favorite reggae band. Hurricane Katrina gave him the opportunity to help the affected in New Orleans and put his background in Microsoft systems administration to work in Florida as a contract insurance adjuster for Allstate. Returning to the West he entered the oil and gas industry as a specialist in title research and due diligence projects, and most recently worked on the Uinta Express Pipeline project. As part of that project he obtained his real estate license, and has found a way to merge all of his passions and talents with his love of Park City, and to share all that the “life” has to offer with the team at High Country Properties.
Testimonials
We bought a cabin in Oakley, UT in 2014. We worked with Tim Whetsel who was extremely knowledgable about the nuances of purchasing a cabin versus a traditional home. His knowledge and experience was key. I would highly recommend HCP and Tim to anyone looking to purchase real estate, particularly cabins or property in the Kamas, Oakley or the Uinta mountain area.
Exceptional service and very knowledgable of the area. I would very much use their services again in the future. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend High Country to anyone looking to purchase in Wasatch County. I am very happy.
Tim Whetzel did an outstanding job for us and would use him again. He was very knowledgable and was not high pressure which can be a turnoff. His follow up and assistance was as good as we have experienced in our purchase of many home.
Gene Morrello was outstanding. Throughout the process, I would text him an address I found in Zillow, and he would respond immediately with a quick synopsis. This was impressive as I know he had no time to look it up. But what truly brought this to the level of amazement, was that whilst skiing I would oft meet other realtors, and in the ensueing convo, would mention some addresses. Most of the responses were, “where is that?” Gene knew where it was, what it was, what it wasn’t, and…
“Just bought a property outside of Park City. My agent was actually Chad Logan and he was very knowledgeable about the area. We loved him. Would recommend this company to anyone looking for affordable land in Wasatch area. Helped me through the entire process including all the specifics regarding water rights and HOA.”
I was very impressed with High Country Properties, Their team knows the Summit County and Wasatch County area very well. They are focused on finding you the right property and not just trying to make a sale
Jeff and his team have been excellent to work with. He is a master of the area. The property we listed is a cabin in the mountains. He has handled everything seamlessly from start to finish!
I have worked with High Country Properties for 10 years. Whether you are looking for a condo/home in Park City or a mountain retreat outside of Park City the Jeff and his team offers a no nonsense approach when it comes to buying/selling real estate.
High Country Properties went way beyond what other real estate groups would do to satisfy a customer. Helpful, efficient, honest.
From start to finish, the HCP team and my agent Gene Morello were excellent across the board. Gene and I spoke initially about the exact type of property I was looking for and he kept me in the loop immediately whenever something came his way that sounded promising. In a hot RE market like Park City, it is crucial to have a team working for you to find the perfect property before someone else gets to it before you have the opportunity to purchase.
