DESCRIPTION
Alpine Acres offers some of the most private and serene cabins and lots in Weber Canyon. This community is just about as close as you can get to living in the Wasatch Cache National Forest. Alpine Acres consists of 114 privately owned lots, ranging in size from 0.25 to 7 acres, as well as several common areas including a horse corral and a children’s fishing pond. Located close to the Weber River and Smith and Morehouse Reservoir, the recreation possibilities are endless. During the summer, enjoy fly fishing, canoeing, hiking, camping, mountain biking, ATV riding, and horseback riding in scenic Weber Canyon. During the winter, the landscape is transformed into a snowmobiler’s dream, with huge open powder bowls and views stretching toward Wyoming. Other popular winter activities include backcountry skiing, cross country skiing, and snowshoeing.

WHERE IS ALPINE ACRES LOCATED?
Alpine Acres is located at the very end of Weber Canyon Road, past Thousand Peaks Ranch.

IS THE AREA ACCESSIBLE ON A YEAR ROUND BASIS?
This is a seasonal access community with access by snowmobile, snowcat, or snowshoes in the winter.

HOW MUCH ARE THE HOMEOWNER ASSOCIATION DUES AND WHAT DO THEY COVER?
The Alpine Acres Homeowner Association dues are $100 yearly and cover general operation and road maintenance.

WHAT KIND OF NATURAL VEGETATION IS IN THE AREA?
Weber Canyon is filled with aspen trees with some pine trees scattered throughout. During the summer months, plenty of wildflowers add color to the canyon.

WHAT ABOUT ELECTRICITY?
All of the lots in Alpine Acres have power to the property line.

ARE GAS AND PHONE LINES INSTALLED?
No. Most residents use propane and cell phones in Alpine Acres.

IS ALPINE ACRES ZONED FOR HORSES?
Yes, horses are allowed in Alpine Acres. The Homeowner’s Association maintains a common horse corral area.

WHAT KIND OF ROADS ARE THERE?
All of the roads are gravel/dirt and are accessible by a two wheel drive car in the summer.

HOW FAR IS ALPINE ACRES FROM SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH?
Alpine Acres is about an hour from Salt Lake City, Utah.

WHAT ARE THE VIEWS LIKE?
The views vary depending on lot and location. Most lots have views of the surrounding mountains, meadows, and national forest land, as well as open space toward Wyoming.

IN WHAT SCHOOL AND FIRE DISTRICT IS THE PROPERTY IN?
Alpine Acres is located within the boundaries of the South Summit School district and the Summit County Utah Fire district. A fire station is conveniently located at the base of the canyon in Oakley, Utah.
