Peoa is a small community known for its history of agriculture and ranching. Peoa is also centrally located to several of northeastern Utah’s favorite destinations. Rockport Reservoir is located directly north of Peoa and offers boating, fishing, swimming, and other water activities in the summer, as well as great ice fishing in the winter. Just south of Peoa one can find Blue Ribbon fly fishing on the Weber River. In fact, it is still possible to find highly desirable riverfront property in Peoa. The entrance to beautiful Weber Canyon is just west of Peoa, and Browns Canyon, a scenic byway linking this small town to Interstate 80 and Park City, Utah, runs east out of Peoa. Residents here can be hiking, mountain biking, ATV riding, horseback riding, camping, snowmobiling, and fishing within minutes of their front doors. Real estate in Peoa is mostly large acreage lots and farm or ranch land, however mountain contemporary homes have recently increased in popularity in this area.
