DESCRIPTION
Weber Canyon is a popular recreation destination located just outside of Oakley, Utah, stretching 20 miles east toward Smith & Morehouse Reservoir and bordering national forest and ranch land. There are a dozen subdivisions, several gated, in Weber Canyon as well as individual properties. Subdivisions in Weber Canyon include: Aspen Acres and Aspen Mountain, Beaver Springs Ranch, Canyon Rim Ranches, Hidden Lake Ranch, Pine Mountain, and Weber Meadow View Ranch. Most subdivisions have seasonal access, but parts of some subdivisions and other areas offer year round access. Weber Canyon features the Weber River and Smith & Morehouse River, as well as Smith & Morehouse Reservoir. In the summer time, Weber Canyon is very popular for fly fishing, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, boating, ATV riding, and the historic Oakley Rodeo. In the winter time, amazing snowmobiling, backcountry skiing, cross country skiing, and snowshoeing trails are located in Weber Canyon and the surrounding areas.

Weber Canyon Road is a paved road that is maintained year round and serves as the main artery into the canyon. Subdivision and side roads are mostly gravel or dirt.
HOW FAR IS WEBER CANYON FROM SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH?
Depending on where you depart from, Weber Canyon is about 45-55 minutes from Salt Lake City, Utah.
WHAT ARE THE VIEWS LIKE?
The views vary, depending on the location of the property. Most Weber Canyon properties have views of the surrounding aspen and pine covered mountains, with views up or down the canyon. Some properties feature views of the Weber River.

Weber Canyon is located within the boundaries of the South Summit School district and the Summit County Fire District. A fire station is conveniently located at the base of the canyon in Oakley, Utah.
